Had initially restricted herself only to do theatre, and not TV work, after leaving All Saints, because of the stresses of working full time on a show, However she secured her role on Neighbours, and changed her tune. Had she not gotten her role on Neighbours, she may well have just stuck to theatre.

Apart from Natalie and her co-star Natalie Blair, playing sisters in the show, they are also cousins in real life, and have the same christian name.
