    • Sagarika Mukherjee Da Costa (Birth name: Sagarika Mukherjee; also known as Saag, Saaga or Sagarika) is an Indian singer and actress. She sings mainly in Hindi, Assamese and Bengali language songs but has also sang in Tamil and Telegu language. She was born on 4th September 1970 in Guwahati, Assam, India but original belongs from Kolkata in a Bengali family. She is the daughter of singer and composer Manas Mukherjee. Her brother Shantanu Mukherjee (later known as Shaan) is also a singer and actor. In 1973 at the age of three, she shifted to Mumbai, Maharashtra with her family to studied in the school. While studying at school, Sagarika made her debut as a playback singer in the film "Shayaad" in 1979 composed by her father. She was studied at Jai Hind College in Mumbai but she dropped out to pursued in her singing career. Then, she sang several albums and films like Thodasa Ramani Ho Jayenge, Dil Hi To Hai, Maa, Bombay Girl, Q-Funk, Dance Dhamaka, Love-Ology, Mere Liye, Sparsh etc.

      Apart from singing, She was also acted few Bollywood and regional films as well as guest appearances such as Shyam Saheb, Anutaap, Jonaki Mon, Inteqam and Kalishankar.

      Sagarika married Uk-Italian businessman and event manager Martin Da Costa on 4th February 2002 and have two sons.
