Kc Bokadia, the veteran producer, is set to mark his debut in the world of mega-serials with “Sardar The Game Changer.” Starring Rajit Kapur in the titular role, the series is scheduled to premiere on March 10, 2024, on Doordarshan National. After actress Rajeshwari Sachdev tested Covid positive, her husband, actor Varun Badola, had himself tested. His report is negative.

"I took the Covid test after my wife tested positive. Just received my result and it is negative. A big thank you to all who prayed for my good health. Your wishes do not just keep me going, but alive too," Varun wrote on Instagram.

He also gave an update on Rajeshwari's health.

"My wife Rajeshwari is doing fine. Waiting for her to recover," Varun added.

New Delhi, May 13: Actor Varun Badola praises his wife, actress Rajeshwari Sachdev, and says she doesn't fight over his erratic working hours as she understands the demands of the profession.

The 36-year old is currently playing a rich and powerful man, Thakoor Vikram Singh, in "Phir Subah Hogi" on Zee TV.

"When you are working in a daily soap, there is no fixed working hours. I am lucky that Raj (Rajeshwari) is from the same profession and understands it completely. There are no cat fights between us when I come late from shoot or can't give time to family," Varun.

Developed to promote South Asian culture throughout the Chicago area and Midwest, by showcasing filmmakers of South Asian descent as well as films that represent the perspective of the diaspora, the first Chicago South Asian Film Festival will run October 1-3, 2010.
