Bohumil Ríha was born on 22 February 1907 in Vysetice, Sebírov, Tábor District, Austria-Hungary [now Czech Republic]. He was a writer, known for Dým bramborové nate (1977), Prázdniny v oblacích (1960) and Dva kluci v palbe (1985). He died on 15 December 1987 in Prague, Czechoslovakia [now Czech Republic].
