    • Quotes
[In 2008, when asked what it was like to work with the stars of "Charlie's Angels"] Kate Jackson was difficult and never understood how beautiful she was and didn't want to be that. The other two girls were the models, and she wanted to be the actress of the group. She fought against her own physicality and put herself in turtlenecks and dowdy clothes. I didn't know that when I first met her and I said to her, "Boy, we're going to fire the cinematographer. You're gorgeous and you deserve to look better". She didn't like that. She wanted to be Marian the Librarian, and an unhappy girl, whom I liked. She was more of a feminist and higher conscious-level raised than the other two at that time. Jaclyn Smith is a sweetheart who at the time had very bad taste in men. She was a lovely girl with a beautiful family from Texas, since her father was a dentist. Nice people. She is solid as a rock. I had a big crush on Farrah Fawcett like the rest of America. Lovely, funny, natural comedienne. In a better world, would have had a much more prolific career. Real, natural talent. Underestimated, could have been as funny as Doris Day or my wife Sharon Gless. She didn't have a lot of training or background, but a solid comedienne and a lovely girl. I really liked her a lot.
