Joe Roncetti

I've been acting since I was a kid, booking commercials, TV, films & voice-overs. Having the optimism of youth, I brought a naive enthusiasm that allowed me to learn on the job.

I was so fortunate to work with some great and experienced actors (Ryan Reynolds, David Strathairn, Kim Coates, Jacob Tierney, James Woods) to name a few who took me under their wing and taught me about subtlety, timing and the ability make it look real.

In my late teens and early twenties I transitioned into the field of music, which was a life long dream. There was such an obvious overlap in skill sets and the nature of live music being performative. The Toronto band I was in "Benjamin" was a pretty immediate success and were showcasing for record labels in Los Angeles & New York ultimately signing a big publishing deal with Warner/Chappel. I would go on to record eight albums and tour all over the US and Canada.

Having taken the time to dive deep into the music I look forward to a renewed vigor in acting and the business with a much broader life and creative perspective. I can animate a role with lived experience and gravity, ultimately bringing a lot more life to any character I take on.
