Israel's chief justice was reportedly struck in the face with a shoe at the country's supreme court today. Witnesses said that a 52-year-old man threw two shoes at Dorit Beinisch, with the first hitting its target, Reuters reports. Attorney Tal Ron told Israel Radio: "In the middle of the proceedings, we saw a shoe fly from the public gallery. It hit the judge, Dorit Beinisch, smack between the eyes. It brought her down.
