Mikey Robins is a highly recognizable and beloved Australian comedian, writer, radio and television personality, known for his quick wit, intelligent observations, and satirical humour. He has had a long and diverse career in Australian media. Mikey is perhaps best known for his role as a team captain on the hugely popular satirical game show Good News Week. He was a staple of the show during its initial run (1996-2000 on ABC, then Network Ten) and returned when it was resurrected in 2008 (until 2012). His banter with host Paul McDermott and fellow team captain Julie McCrossin (later Claire Hooper) was a hallmark of the program.
