Foxtel Arts has partnered with Sydney Symphony Orchestra (Sso) to deliver locally-produced orchestral content for the channel.

In April next year audiences will be able to watch the Sso under conductor David Robertson in The Desert Music by American composer Steve Reich and Stravinsky.s Rite of Spring.

The classic City Lights from famed actor and director Charlie Chaplin will be screened at Powell Hall, accompanied by a live score performed by the Saint Louis Symphony.

More: Charlie Chaplin not only wrote, directed and starred in the 1931 film City Lights, he composed the musical score to accompany it. The St. Louis Symphony, under the direction of Music Director David Robertson, will perform an updated orchestration of the City Lights score live with the film.
