Renato Rizzuti

Renato was born in the Southern region of Italy, namely Calabria. He still speaks Calabrese and standard Italian. Life started in Canada as a young child in Ottawa Ontario. The first English school he attended was St. Antony's School. He went on to The Ottawa Technical High School where he was known as the school's "poet" and also a "star" member of the weightlifting team.

Carleton University was next where Renato graduated with an Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree with a major in English Literature. During this period he studied martial arts extensively and is well versed in Jiu-Jitsu. Renato always was concerned with the simultaneous development of the mind and body.

Queen's University was next where Renato earned a Bachelor of Education Degree with specialization in English and Drama. He was the star actor in the Drama department and won kudos for his performances in all the Drama Department's productions.

Renato went on in life wearing many hats as an English and Drama high school teacher, writer, poet, actor, husband, father, gym rat, philosopher and an accomplished gourmet cook.
