Edit
  • Trivia
Prolific small-part character actor, invariably seen with slicked-back hair and pencil moustache. In films from 1921, he had a featured role as con artist Harvey Yates in the Marx Brothers farce Noix de coco (1929). However, critical reviews for his performance were unanimously negative, effectively condemning Ring to the bottom of the playbill or uncredited bit parts for the remainder of his career.
