Minnie Mouse is the latest Disney icon to trade in spreading cheer for a thirst for blood, thanks to copyright law. She joins the likes of Winnie-the-Pooh, Piglet, Peter Pan, Bambi, and others in a growing public-domain horror genre. Per Deadline, filming on the low-budget slasher Minnie's Midnight Massacre has wrapped.

Written and directed by Brett Bentman (90 Feet From Home), this feature sees Minnie embarking on a "killing spree when seeking revenge against the childhood bullies who tortured her as a teenager." Hannah Huston (Stiletto) stars in the feature, and a first-look image reveals someone (who may or may not be Huston) donning a Minnie mask, complete with a blood-splattered white tulle skirt, and clutching a knife. Disney Dreamlight Valley has just shared the first official teaser for its Summer 2025 update, and it seems like there might be more to this update than originally anticipated. Per the initial 2025 Road Map revealed at the start of the year, fans have pretty much confirmed that the summer update will be centered around Peter Pan. While originally thought to take place around or inside Skull Rock primarily, this new hint might prove otherwise.

Shared via Disney Dreamlight Valley's official Instagram account and other social media platforms, the Summer update teaser comes in the form of an image featuring an old treasure map, where an X marks the spot.
