    • Else Reval was born on June 14, 1893 in Berlin, Germany. She was an actress, known for Er und sein Diener (1931), Je t'aimerai toujours (1941) and Fiakerlied (1936). She died on January 25, 1978 in West Berlin, West Germany.

Trivia

  • Trained as a ballerina, she first appeared on stage dancing with the Deutsche Oper in 1907. By 1914, Reval had switched to acting and worked regularly as a comedienne in Berlin theatres, as well as in silent movies. If anything, her career in sound film blossomed, popularly cast as jovial cooks, gossips, chatty wives or assorted 'fat ladies'.
  • The 30's were the most busy decade in her career.
  • The actress Else Reval was a very popular support actress whose career covered 40 years.
  • After the movies "Die Nashörner" (1961) and "Hafenpolizei" (1962) she retired from the film business.
  • She continued her career during wartime and appeared in "Hochzeit auf dem Bärenhof" (1942) and "Eine kleine Sommermelodie" (1944).
