You can get a proper look at it here, but auditions continued until Saturday, September 19 with Boot Camp kicking off on September 20. That was the first of five boot camp shows - two set in a country house, and then three episodes of the dreaded Six Chair Challenge. They were all on Sundays, to avoid the Rugby World Cup, but then Judges' Houses aired on October 24 and October 25... and the first big live show will kick off on October 31. And the grand final? It's set for Sunday,...

It was an unexpected X Factor this evening for the first Judges' Houses. The results were announced live, with Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Simon Cowell naming the three acts they'd be taking to the Live shows from the Groups and the Overs.

It's time! To face! The swimming pools and perfectly kept lawns! It's always been our favourite phase of The X Factor and now the glorified game of musical chairs is mercifully over, this weekend sees the surviving 24 acts jet off to Judges' Houses.

Or Judges' Pretend Houses, as we prefer to call it, as they tend to be rented residences. You don't think Cowell and co would let the oiks into their real homes, do you?

According to Metro, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has personally requested that Minogue joins her for the Judges' Houses stage of the competition.

Apparently, it's all working out quite nicely as Minogue is filming her X Factor Australia Judges' Houses in the UK and won't have too far to travel, as Fernandez-Versini is hosting hers in France.

The report also claims that Simon Cowell has bagged Paloma Faith to join new judge Nick Grimshaw, saying that he's hoping this will deter her from signing up to BBC One's rival singing show The Voice UK.

The biggie. We've got a refreshed judging panel this year - Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini have held onto their spots, but they've been joined by Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora for the new series.

It's currently being suggested that X Factor hosts Olly Murs and Caroline Flack will not be attending the key Judges' Houses stage of the competition in person this year.

Instead, the duo will anchor proceedings from the studio, according to The Sun.

The ITV talent show's previous host Dermot O'Leary jetted across the world with the judges - touching down in locations such as Mexico, Australia and Los Angeles.

A spokesperson for ITV has since told Digital Spy: "There is nothing confirmed for Judges' Houses at this stage."

Last year's Judges' Houses - which sees finalists being selected for the live shows - saw Simon Cowell being joined by Sinitta at his lavish home in La, and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini teaming up with Tinie Tempah in Nice.

Sinitta has denied "slamming" Nick Grimshaw as a judge on The X Factor, and has claimed she "merely made a few intelligent observations" about the Radio 1 breakfast show host.

The 'So Macho' singer took to Twitter to clarify an interview in which she originally questioned whether Grimshaw could judge other singers, given he's not a musician himself.

The judges had to stop filming temporarily while they got themselves cleaned up.

A picture of what Cheryl has dubbed "ice cream gate" was posted online by an audience member, and shows Cowell laughing while seemingly covering Rita Ora's face in ice cream too.

Nick Grimshaw tweeted on Wednesday (July 15): "Just had to stop filming after an ice cream fight. Simon started it."

Sinitta isn't sold on the idea of Nick Grimshaw as an X Factor judge.

The 'So Macho' singer - who regularly helps out Simon Cowell at the Judges' Houses stage of the series - questioned whether the Radio 1 DJ can really judge people's singing.

She told Closer: "I don't get his decision to choose Nick Grimshaw – he can't sing! How can he judge other singers? I think Simon and Nick are good mates though, so he chose him to have a pal on the panel."

The 51-year-old isn't giving up hope of one day serving as a judge on the ITV show, explaining to the magazine that she 'begs' Cowell for a spot on the panel every year.

Cher Lloyd has suggested that Rita Ora may struggle when she joins The X Factor as there's only one "golden girl" for Simon Cowell... no, not Sinitta - Cheryl Fernandez-Versini.

The former X Factor contestant revealed that she was "shocked" music mogul Cowell hired 'Poison' singer Ora for the ITV talent show.

"I was very surprised that Simon hired Rita," Lloyd told Heat magazine.

Britain's Got Talent continued its exciting semi-final week tonight (May 26) as Old Men Grooving and Jules O'Dwyer and her performing dog Matisse advanced.

The best news came for Jules and her dancing pooch as they actually earned an automatic advancement by topping the public vote, while Old Men Grooving beat Revelation Avenue in a second-place battle.

Dance troupe Groove Thing, contortionist Bonetics, illusionist Michael Late and singer Alison Jiear were given less encouraging news, as they won't be moving on.

Britain's Got More Talent continues its apparent aim to humiliate David Walliams this weekend - as Simon Cowell reads out a list of the judge's diva demands.

Walliams can only stand and watch as Cowell reads out the rider to Bgmt host Stephen Mulhern, later expressing his disgust.

"I'm just disappointed, Stephen," Cowell says. "You know what, actually, just don't talk to him."

But just in case Walliams hadn't been humiliated enough, Mulhern pops him in a dog outfit for another instalment of David vs Dog.

This week, Walliams has to go head to head against Ashleigh & Pudsey to find out who is a better dancer - so will judges Stavros Flatley be more impressed by Ashleigh & Pudsey's 'Uptown Funk' routine or Walliams's dance to Sinitta's 'So Macho'?
