Every James Wan Horror Movie, Ranked
Image
James Wan has been an accomplished director in the horror genre for just shy of two decades. While he's directed other films outside the horror genre, most of his horror creations have become successful franchises. He began his career by co-creating and directing the movie Saw with Leigh Whannell. Wan eventually worked up to building The Conjuring Universe, which has grossed over 2 billion dollars.

While Wan has had mega success within the horror film scene, some of his films have had mixed reviews. Not all are winners, but there are some phenomenal horror films and lore within the movies that he's made. With over nine horror films directed, some precede others in greatness.

Image
Harry Potter: Hogwarts Legacy's success shows potential for HBO's remake to incorporate key characters like Professor Black for a book-faithful adaptation. Simon Pegg brought Phineas Nigellus Black to life in Hogwarts Legacy, and bringing him back would offer a cohesive connection to the Harry Potter TV show. Hogwarts Legacy actors, like Enn Reitel and Jason Anthony, could return to imbue the Harry Potter remake with a sense of cohesiveness.

Harry Potter: Hogwarts Legacy is set 100 years before the events of Harry Potter, but HBO's upcoming remake can still borrow one of its key characters. The video game is easily the most successful installment in the Wizarding World franchise since Warner Bros' Harry Potter movies, proving that there is still interest in the franchise despite Fantastic Beasts' shortcomings. Now, with the Harry Potter books and films being remade into a TV series, it may be beneficial for HBO to lift a...
