Country Music Singer Chris Young Cleared of Charges After Nashville Arrest, Lawyer Releases Statement
Image
Chris Young‘s week ended on a good note on Friday (January 26), just days after he was arrested and charged on three different counts.

The 38-year-old country music star was having a night out with friends when he had a run-in with authorities, which led to his arrest.

He was released on $2,500 of bonds for his three charges of disorderly conduct, assaulting an officer and resisting arrest.

On Friday, the singer’s charges were all dropped after the Nashville District Attorney’s Office reviewed all of the evidence in the case.

Keep reading to find out more…

While reviewing the case, according to Et, the evidence included footage from a security camera inside the bar, where you could see Chris put his arm out to one of the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission agents, who then shoved him. You then see Chris fall back into a chair and fall to the ground before getting back up.

Nashville Da Drops Charges Against Country Star Chris Young Following Arrest at Bar
Image
Nashville District Attorney Glenn Funk has dismissed charges against country singer Chris Young after he was arrested earlier this week.

“Regarding the Chris Young incident – After a review of all the evidence in this case, the Office of the District Attorney has determined that these charges will be dismissed,” Funk said in a statement.

Young was arrested on Monday following an altercation at DawgHouse Saloon in Nashville, Tennessee, and charged with disorderly conduct, assaulting an officer and resisting arrest.

Young’s attorney, Bill Ramsey, said in a statement after the charges were dropped, “Mr. Young and I are gratified with the Da’s decision clearing him of the charges and any wrong-doing.”

According to an arrest affidavit, Young was initially at Tin Roof at around 8:30 p.m. on Monday when Alcoholic Beverage Commission agents arrived for a compliance check. Young had his ID in his hand when they walked...

Chris Young Arrest: Surveillance Video Contradicts Officer’s Assault Claims
Image
Surveillance video from the night of Chris Young’s arrest at a Nashville bar appears to contradict a Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission agent’s claims that the country star assaulted the officer during the incident Monday night.

In a pair of surveillance videos posted Tuesday to Facebook by Nashville’s Newschannel 5 reporter Nick Beres, Young — wearing the leather jacket in the video — is seen approaching the plainclothes Tabc agents, non-aggressively touching one of the agents on the arm. The agent responded by forcefully shoving Young backward, causing him to tumble...

Yellowstone: Have the Duttons Met Their Match in Season 5?
Image
This article contains spoilers for Yellowstone season 5 episodes 1-2.

Audiences have made Yellowstone’s Dutton clan television royalty for a reason. For 150 years within their fictional Montana kingdom, the Duttons have fought for their family and their legacy – and they fight hard. The way they play the game may have changed over that century and a half – trading guns for law degrees, or governorships – but their family motto remains the same throughout the generations. They will win at any cost.

In the 41 episodes we’ve been given so far, those who have opposed Montana’s first family have usually met a nefarious end, taking a one-way trip to the “train station.” Many have tried to destroy the Duttons or a part of the land they love, and while some enemies have certainly come close, no one has truly been a match.

That may soon change.

Still in its infancy, season...

Yellowstone (2018)
Yellowstone Season 5: Who’s the Most Dangerous Character?
Yellowstone (2018)
Season 4 of Paramount’s mega-hit Yellowstone lacked the same edge-of-your-seat cliffhanger Taylor Sheridan and the creative forces behind the show gave audiences in the previous season. Instead of wondering who was behind the massive attack on the Dutton family, we were granted some closure on a lot of storylines. Season 4 merely set up smaller mysteries on what might come rather than the larger stakes of who might live or die.

Yet Sheridan and team have always had a plan. In their own subtle way, there are several threads they’ve set up for season 5, and many threats within those threads. Perhaps they are more subtle antagonists to which Yellowstone audiences are accustomed, but make no mistake, there are many out there who look to get in the way of the Duttons’ dream. It may also be that season 5 reveals that one or more characters within the family happen to be...

Yellowstone: What It’s Like to Join the Taylor Sheridan TV Family
Paramount Golden Globe Nominee Celebration BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA - JANUARY 04: Rob Kirkland attends the Paramount Golden Globe Nominee Celebration at Cipriani Beverly Hills on January 04, 2025, in Beverly Hills, California.
The acting profession is not an easy one. The public often sees only the glamor; the perfectly quaffed performers in designer clothing, paid millions of dollars to play pretend in massive summer blockbusters. Yet many creative sorts who choose this path in life struggle for years. It is a long road, filled with rejection, sleepless nights, insanely long hours and even longer stretches of time where these performers aren’t sure they’re ever going to work again.

Truth is, you have to be a workhorse in order to really make it anywhere in the acting game.

Rob Kirkland is a testament to that work ethic as the native son of Plainfield, New Jersey just knows you have to put in the work. Like many creative types, Rob focuses his energy not only through his acting, but his writing, marathon running, and training as a martial artist. So after countless...

Taylor Sheridan
Yellowstone Season 5: What to Expect
Taylor Sheridan
One of the issues surrounding Season 4 of the Paramount Network juggernaut Yellowstone was how often it would switch storylines and lose focus. While showrunner Taylor Sheridan may look comfortable in a cowboy hat, creatively, he may have worn too many hats this past year, working on at least three shows concurrently. Season 4 not only spent time setting up proposed spin-off 6666, but often gave flashbacks of the Dutton clan in 1883, basically using Season 4 as advertising for all his other shows (other than Paramount+’s unrelated Mayor of Kingstown). Yet, there might be hope for Yellowstone Season 5.

With the premiere seasons of 1883 and Kingstown essentially finished and under Sheridan’s large-buckled belt, it seems like he can once again focus solely on the visceral story beats to which Yellowstone fans became accustomed. So once Season 5 hits, what can we expect? While there weren’t any massive cliff-hangers similar to the end of...

Yellowstone Recap: Heartbreak Ridge
Image
Never in a million years did we see this one coming. In Sunday’s episode of Yellowstone, Season 4’s penultimate, John dropped on Beth the most hurtful word a parent can hurl at their child: He wasn’t so much mad at her as he was — nooo! — disappointed in her. And it only got more painful from there. Read on, and we’ll not only discuss how, we’ll touch on all the highlights of “No Such Thing as Fair.”

‘Fair Means One Side Got Exactly What They Wanted In A Way The Other Side Can’T Complain About’ | As the hour began,...

Conjuring : Les Dossiers Warren (2013)
The Conjuring 3 Begins Shooting This Summer in Atlanta
Conjuring : Les Dossiers Warren (2013)
I'd venture to say that one of the most anticipated horror movies of the past few decades is the third (and final?) chapter in The Conjuring series. While it's sad to hear that director James Wan will not be back behind the camera to direct this third entry, supposedly we are in good hands as The Curse of La Llorona director Michael Chaves was hand-picked by Wan to lead the charge on The Conjuring 3. And it looks like Chaves will be guiding franchise stars, Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, sooner than expected as today, we have word that The Conjuring 3 is set to begin filming in Atlanta on June 3rd.

This update comes on the heels of recent plot developments surfacing which seem to indicate that The Conjuring 3 will be quite different from The Conjuring and The Conjuring 2, but will still be based on a true story.

Conjuring : Les Dossiers Warren (2013)
Conjuring 3 Won't Have a Haunted House or Demon Possession
Conjuring : Les Dossiers Warren (2013)
Although an official green light from the studio has not been given yet, it seems rather clear that The Conjuring 3 will happen, since both The Conjuring and The Conjuring 2 were so successful that they each warranted their own spin-off, with Annabelle and the upcoming Annabelle: Creation spun off of the first movie, and the upcoming The Nun spun off from last year's sequel. Peter Safran, who has produced all of The Conjuring movies and the spin-offs, recently teased that The Conjuring 3 will not be another haunted house movie.

JoBlo caught up with Peter Safran during a visit to the set of Annabelle: Creation, which hits theaters August 11. When the talk eventually turned to The Conjuring 3, the producer revealed they plan on delving deeper into the Warren case files, by tackling some of the cases that are lesser known than the cases shown in the first two movies. While he...

Peyton Manning at an event for ESPY Awards (2005)
An alleged incident from 1996 involving Super Bowl champion quarterback Peyton Manning has been cited in a Title IX lawsuit against the University of Tennessee lawsuit that alleges behavior by male athletes created a "hostile sexual environment" at the school, where Manning played in the 1990s. Specifically, the suit recalls a 1996 incident - later denied by Manning - in which a female trainer accused him of placing his naked genitals on her face as she examined him for injury, reports The Tennessean newspaper. The Manning incident is among more than a dozen incidents cited by six women, identified as "Jane Does,...

Lawsuit: University of Tennessee Football Players Attacked Fellow Player For Assisting Alleged Rape Victim
A lawsuit filed Tuesday in federal court in Nashville claims University of Tennessee football players attacked a fellow player who helped a woman after she had allegedly been sexually assaulted. More generally, the suit, which was obtained by People, claims administrators at the University of Tennessee turned deaf ears to rape allegations brought against the school's male athletes, fostering a "hostile sexual environment" that made female students particularly "vulnerable" on campus. People obtained a copy of the 64-page civil suit, which was filed by six female victims, identified only as Jane Does. Four are residents of Tennessee, one is from...
