Going Dutch is returning for a second tour of duty. The freshman Fox sitcom has been renewed for a second season at the network. Deadline reports that both Going Dutch and its network stablemate, Animal Control, will be returning next season. The series' first season is now streaming on Hulu.
Deadline reports that although the Denis Leary-led series' ratings were not spectacular, the fact that the series is produced and owned by Fox may have played a part in the network's decision. Fox is also selling the series internationally; unlike many sitcoms, it is an international production, with a military base in Ireland standing in for Garrison Stroopsdorf, the fictional US Army base in Holland that serves as the show's primary setting. Additionally, Going Dutch and Animal Control are the only live-action sitcoms currently on Fox. This may also mean that Fox may not order any new half-hour comedies for the upcoming TV season.

Denis Leary's Colonel Jack Quinn has a hostile encounter with Father Christmas in our exclusive sneak peek from tonight's Going Dutch. "Once Upon a Twice Christmas" will premiere tonight, February 20, at 9:30 p.m. Et on Fox, and stream the next day on Hulu. In our exclusive sneak peek, it's Christmastime at Garrison Stroopsdorf...even though it's springtime. Much like New Jersey, Garrison Stroopsdorf has a drone problem Collider's exclusive first look at tonight's episode of Going Dutch. The fifth episode of Going Dutch, "Nazi Hunters," will air tonight on Fox at 9:30 p.m. Et, and will stream on Hulu starting tomorrow. In our exclusive sneak peek, Colonel Jack Quinn (Denis Leary) is examining a drone that came down around the base. Paranoia quickly gets the better of him, as he wonders if the boy piloting the drone could be a spy. His subordinate (and daughter) Captain Maggie Quinn (Taylor Misiak) insists that the boy is harmless, and concludes that the colonel has an intrinsic need for an enemy, dating back to her childhood, when he believed her babysitter was poisoning her mind with "propaganda" like Shel Silverstein's The Giving Tree.

CNN is taking some of its coverage of politics off the TV screen and putting it into a special live forum.
The At&T-owned cable-news network is set to launch “Citizen by CNN,” a day-long conference slated to be held Monday, October 22, at the Time Warner Center in Manhattan. While some of the panels and interviews set to be featured will likely show up on the company’s flagship cable network, says Sam Feist, a CNN senior vice president who serves as Washington Bureau Chief, the wider intent is for the conference to burnish CNN’s ability to present non-partisan coverage of politics and issues that matter to viewers. The looming midterm elections in November lend new relevance to such an event, he adds.
“We are the news organization, the cable-news channel, that doesn’t pick sides. We play it down the middle and we are focused on news and coverage that matters,...
