    • Godfrey Quigley was born on May 4, 1923 in Jerusalem, Palestine [now Israel]. He was an actor, known for Orange mécanique (1971), Barry Lyndon (1975) and La loi du milieu (1971). He was married to Genevieve Lyons. He died on September 7, 1994 in Dublin, Ireland.

Trivia

  • Son of an Irish father serving with the British Army in India, and an Irish-American mother. Born in Jerusalem, where his father was posted at the time, educated at Belvedere College, Dublin. At first intended a legal career. Acted at the Abbey Theatre from 1977 to 1990; in films from 1949 to 1989.
  • Appeared in two consecutive Stanley Kubrick films, A Clockwork Orange and Barry Lyndon, where both his characters warm up to the troubled, youthful (psychotic or otherwise) main characters.
