Marco was born in Rome from an Italian father and English mother. He attended English elementary and middle school and then switched to Italian school in his high school years. After a year at University studying literature he decided to audition for Italy's national drama school, the Accademia Nazionale d'Arte Drammatica "Silvio D'Amico". He got in and has been acting ever since.
