Studied at Kharkov University (1904-1905). Was active in 1905 revolution, was arrested. Escaped from jail in 1907. Left for Switzerland, where studied in 1912-1917 at Geneva University. In 1917 returned to Georgia. In 1917 published novel, Tariel Golua.
