    Pryor played the role of the prosecutor for a year on Broadway in 1954 in the play "The Caine Mutiny Court Martial." He had appeared in five television plays in 1958 after undergoing an operation for brain cancer in December 1957. He was preparing for a part for a Playhouse 90 (1956) television play when he became too ill to go on. He died at Cedars of Lebanon Hospital in Los Angeles.
