Trivia

  • Albert Prejean was a flying ace during the First World War, and before that had worked as an acrobat - both of which facilitated his entry into movies as a stuntman. His first proper acting job was in Rene Clair's debut film Paris qui dort (1925). He became a popular star of early French comedy and, having also at one time worked as a nightclub singer, was often cast in films which required him to sing, notably Sous les toits de Paris (1930). He was also Mack the Knife in the 1931 French version of Brecht's 'Threepenny Opera'.
  • On March 18, 1942, he was one of the stars of the "train de la honte" with Junie Astor, Danielle Darrieux, René Dary, Suzy Delair and Viviane Romance.
