  • Trivia
Elegant, blonde French actress. The daughter of opera singers, she made her theatrical debut in 1897. She was a child actress in films for Gaumont in the 1910's, mostly French, Italian and Spanish productions. By the mid-1930's, she had graduated to leading roles in several important French movies, including Anatole Litvak's original version of "Mayerling". She was also quite adept at comedy, such as "Un de la legion" with Fernandel. From the mid-50's, Suzy concentrated increasingly on production, interspersed with occasional film appearances until 1976.
