Ryan Pope in English Revolution (2013)
England during the English Civil War. A small group of deserters flee from a raging battle through an overgrown field. They are captured by two men: O'Neil and Cutler. O'Neil, an alchemist, forces the group to aid him in his search to find a hidden treasure that he believes is buried in the field. Crossing a vast mushroom circle, which provides their first meal, the group quickly descend into a chaos of arguments, fighting and paranoia, and, as it becomes clear that the treasure might be something other than gold, they slowly become victim to the terrifying energies trapped inside the field.

Perhaps best-known to English television viewers for his role as Psycho Paul in the odd sitcom 'Ideal', Ryan Pope was born in Manchester in 1973 and, having graduated from acting school, found his first 'professional' role riding a Lambretta, in the guise of a 'Mod' to promote the Quadrophenia comeback tour by rock band The Who. After that he was employed as a catwalk model for the Prada fashion house and was allowed to keep the suit that he modelled, unfortunately leaving the trousers on the bus home. More seriously he has performed with the Royal Shakespeare Company in both North America and the Far East.
