Mario Polit is a New York based Actor and FDNY Lieutenant with over thirty years of experience in film, TV, and theater.
Born and raised in Queens, New York, and of Ecuadorian descent, Mario made his film debut in The Devil's Own alongside Harrison Ford and Brad Pitt. He's best known for his chilling role as Jesus Rossi in The Sopranos, and has shared the screen with stars like Lorraine Bracco, Maggie Gyllenhaal (The Great New Wonderful), Jennifer Lopez (Hustlers), Bill Burr, Steve Buscemi, and Pete Davidson (The King of Staten Island), drawing from his real-life role as a Lieutenant in the FDNY, he brings unmatched authenticity to his portrayals of first responder's.
