Alfred Polgar was born on 17 October 1873 in Vienna, Austria-Hungary. He was a writer and art director, known for Ich lebe für Dich (1929), Fin de saison (1933) and Les affreux (1959). He was married to Elise Loewy. He died on 24 April 1955 in Zurich, Switzerland.
