IMDbProStarmeterSee rank
Kansas City-based actress whose career began with a role on the Kansas City-produced children's radio series "The Air Adventures of Jimmie Allen" in 1946. Twila's father, Russell Comer, was the producer of this series. After this, Twila went on to work steadily as an actress in radio, television, and industrial/educational films made in the Kansas City area over the years. She also was a familiar face in professional and non-professional theater productions in the area for decades. In the 1970s she landed small roles in a few low-budget feature-length films shot on location in Kansas City utilizing local acting talent: "Friendly Persuasion," "Supervan," and "69 Minutes." At age 82, Twila Pollard is still living in Kansas City, still acting today.
