She fell pregnant when she was on Emmerdale so she quit to be a mum.
Many years later, when she was on Coronation Street she quit that
series too since she was pregnant again.
Quit acting in 2002 to raise her son and daughter.
Children: Alex Pirie, fathered by Christopher Stone (born in April
1997) and James 'Jamie' Chadwick, fathered by Simon Chadwick (b. in
Oct. 2001).
