Biography

Vivi Pineda is a Colombian-American actress and social activist. She was born in Cartagena, Colombia, where at the age of 7, Vivi and her family immigrated to Miami, Florida. Pineda always had a passion for the arts, and as a young girl, she participated in school plays and was part of a dance group and the drama club in High School. Vivi began her professional acting career after the real estate crash in 2008 with a small recurring role in the popular Telenovela "El Rostro de Analia." What started as a side hustle turned into a ten-year + acting career where she then went on to appear in numerous films and television series such as "Pain & Gain," "Waves," and "The Glades."

Apart from her work in the film industry, Pineda is also a real estate professional with extensive experience in the real estate industry. Ms. Pineda sold real estate at the exclusive Fisher Island, a 216-acre ultra-luxury resort-style private island, and has a Master of Real Estate Development and Urbanism from the University of Miami. In addition, Vivi has a passion for technology and most recently started to gain IT skills focused on Cloud Computing and has certifications in AWS and Azure.

Ms. Pineda has been involved in many social causes and advocates for women's rights. Pineda regularly volunteers with nonprofit organizations fighting for the social issues that matter to her, such as helping to feed the hungry and in clean-up efforts. Ms. Pineda strongly advocates for responsible AI, the metaverse, web3, and green technology. She also promotes diversity and inclusion in the tech and entertainment industries. She has been actively involved in the fight to ensure Latinos have a seat at the table. Latinos are amongst the most under-represented and under-served groups in the US. Pineda hopes to continue to see under-represented groups being depicted accurately in the entertainment industry.
