With a background in film production, acquisitions, and distribution, Marion wrote and directed her first short film, The Ride, in 2011 for the BBC. A blackly comic psychological thriller examining race and class it starred Anthony LaPaglia and Ed Speleers. The Ride premiered in competition at the Tribeca Film Festival and was nominated for a Jury Award.
Marion directed a further five short films including 2 in a Million which is being developed into a six-part television series.
She co-wrote and directed her debut feature film, The Flip Side for 20th Century Fox, a story of female ambivalence, love and loss, starring Eddie Izzard. The Flip Side premiered at the Edinburgh International Film Festival in 2019.
Her non-fiction work includes the award winning 6x30 dating-cooking show Recipe For Love, and the festival darling feature documentary, Isla's Way, following one-of-a-kind, 87 year old champion chariot rider, Isla Roberts.
