She started working with film at an early age, working as a cinema operator and then was educated as a continuity supervisor with director Roy Andersson. She directed her first TV series when she was 24 years old, "The shipping company" 12x45 minutes, and continued directing a children's Christmas series 24x15 minutes, for Swedish television. The following years she directed several TV series, "Radio shadow" 4x50 minutes, "Sixth day" 3x45 minutes. She then created, was head writer and also directed "The Family" a 12x60 minutes TV drama. The series was a big success in Sweden that led her to write and direct the relation comedy "No 1", 9x30 minutes. Filippa has also written and directed short films that has been nominated to several film festivals, like Vendome Filmfestival, France. 2023 she is in post-production with her first feature film "Love Game" that will be released spring 2024, and in pre-production with her next feature film "Hotel des Fleurs".
