Rodman Philbrick

Rodman Philbrick was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and grew up on the coast of
New Hampshire. Before becoming a published author he worked as a
longshoreman and boat builder. He has written many award-winning books
for children and adults, including Freak the Mighty, Max the Mighty,
REM World, The Fire Pony, The Last Book in the Universe, and The Young
Man and The Sea.
