    • Leo Peukert was born on August 26, 1885 in Munich, Germany. He was an actor and director, known for Küsse, die töten (1916), Der müde Theodor (1918) and Fräulein Baronin (1919). He was married to Sabine Impekoven. He died on January 6, 1944 in Tiengen, Germany.

  • Stocky character actor, singer and comedian. Began on stage in Munich, 1904 to 1908. Starred in a series of short comedies in the 1910's, as well as occasionally directing for "BB-Film-Fabrikation" in Berlin. Continued successfully into sound films and played key supporting roles in films of the 1930's and early 40's. Often cast as senior civic leaders, theatrical directors, wine merchants, editors, and the like.
  • The plump Leo Peukert was engaged for many other parts during the 30's, to his most famous movies belong "Kohlhiesels Töchter" (1930), "Der Fall Deruga" 19(38), "Die Umwege des schönen Karl" (1938) and "Das Ekel" (1939).
  • He became a very busy actor and entertained the audience with his appearances in the movies "Leo, der schwarze Münchhausen" (1912), "Leo, der Aushilfskellner" (1913), "Michels eiserne Faust" (1914), , "König Krause" (1919) and "Mein Leopold" (1919).
  • Also directed several movies from 1913. He realised a total of twelve movies between 1913 and 1927.
  • The actor Leo Peukert took very early part in first silent movies.
