The Real Housewives of Orange County just hit a major milestone:19 years since the show premiered.

Bravo boss Andy Cohen took to social media to celebrate the special moment and so did the Og of the Oc, Vicki Gunvalson.

Vicki posted a throwback photo of the Season 1 cast, which included Jeana Keough, Lauri Peterson, Jo De La Rosa, and Kimberly Bryant.

Meanwhile, fans of the show are celebrating as well and putting some respect on Vicki’s name.

We even spotted some current cast members in the comment section thanking the Og for paving the way.

Sadly, we won’t see Vicki on the show’s 19th season, which is currently filming.

She appeared alongside her friend and current cast member Shannon Beador in Season 18.

However, earlier this year, the 62-year-old revealed that she would not be on the show but would be cheering Shannon on from the sidelines.

The Real Housewives of Orange County was the first show in The Real Housewives franchise, debuting in 2006. Across 18 seasons, the Rhoc has had numerous cast mates, friends, and guests come and go. The Rhoc has also introduced audiences to various romantic partners, children, and other relatives.

None of the original members of the Rhoc's cast have lasted all 18 seasons and, during its long run, notable housewives like Tamra Judge and Heather Dubrow have come and gone — only to return. For the Rhoc stars who haven't reemerged, it's natural to be curious about what happened to them after they left the show.

Jo De La Rosa Gray, an original cast member, appeared in the Season 18 finale of The Real Housewives of Orange County. During the October 2024 episode, the Rhoc alum made a much-anticipated return at Jennifer Pedranti and Ryan Boyajian’s engagement party.

Jo explained that her return to the reality TV show felt like a full-circle moment. She told Us Weekly that it was the first time she had met the entire cast of Season 18. “They were all new to me, and they were honestly the sweetest. Everyone was so kind to me. Some of them were like, ‘I used to watch you on your first season.’ To me, that was crazy surprising.”

Jo was just 23 years old when she appeared as an original Rhoc cast member when the Bravo show first premiered in 2006. She appeared in two seasons of the show before leaving for good.

Waring’s cause of death has now been confirmed as the result of an accidental overdose on the drugs fentanyl, methamphetamine, and olanzapine, which is an antipsychotic medication.

Lauri Peterson’s son, Josh Waring’s, cause of death has been revealed.

Almost five months after the former Real Housewives of Orange County star announced the news on Instagram, his death has been ruled an accident.

The Orange County Sheriff-Coroner Department declared Josh died as a result of the use of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and olanzapine. The last is an antipsychotic normally used to treat schizophrenia.

In an April 6 post on her Instagram account, Lauri announced Josh had died on March 31.

“It is with a shattered heart that I write this post to let you know that my sweet Josh left this earth Easter Sunday.”

The heartbreaking post featured multiple pictures from Josh’s childhood, as well as photos of Josh with his daughter, Kennedy.

Peterson shared the sad news of her son’s passing on Saturday via Instagram.

Per a statement from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office in Kansas, Cole Brings Plenty’s body was discovered in a wooded area on Friday after a person noticed an unoccupied vehicle nearby and notified authorities. The exact cause of death has not yet been revealed.

Andy Cohen took to Instagram this week to pay tribute to the show that started it all – The Real Housewives of Orange County.

The series premiered on March 21, 2006, and although it isn’t considered one of the best seasons, we may not have seen the other shows without it.

The original cast included Kimberly Bryant, Jo De La Rosa, Vicki Gunvalson, Jeana Keough, and Lauri Peterson.

Of course, Gunvalson remains a mainstay on the show and has been filming for the upcoming Rhoc Season 18.

The other four original stars are distant memories, but the show must continue.

The reality TV personality became a household name after breaking out on the Bravo reality series. Now 18 years later, she’s still in the mix and getting honored for her work of providing entertainment for audiences.

Andy Cohen hosted The Bravos from the Paris Theater in Las Vegas amid the three-day convention. The show was pre-taped and expected to air on Sunday, Nov. 5. Some of Gunvalson’s best moments on Rhoc aired showcasing her ups and downs her signature “Woohoo!” and “Whoop it up!” made the cut alongside complaints about getting a family van to take her family to the airport.
