Went on to produce four films in China, including Snowflower & The Secret Fan, based on the best-selling novel, distributed by Fox Searchlight Pictures. Perkins has also held executive-level posts with several blue-chip film sales companies including Senator International/Mandate Pictures, and KMI. Perkins also has prolific screen-writing career and has sold various scripts to companies liker Fox, Videocine and Overture Films.
