Biography

Had four children: Nathalie Vadim (b. December 7, 1957) with Annette Stroyberg; Christian Vadim (b. June 18, 1963) with Catherine Deneuve; Vanessa Vadim (b. September 28, 1968) with Jane Fonda; and Vania Vadim (b. April 6, 1974) with Catherine Schneider.

His widow, Marie-Christine Barrault, and ex-wives Brigitte Bardot, Jane Fonda, Catherine Schneider and Annette Stroyberg were all in attendance at his funeral. Conspicuous by their absences were former live-in girlfriends Ann Biderman and Catherine Deneuve; the latter did go to a public memorial service, but not the funeral.
