Feroz Khan launched the first version of Janbaaz, spelt "Jaanbaz" (To be made in Hindi and English),Starring Feroz Khan, Sanjay Khan,Shatrughan Sinha,Rekha,Akbar Khan,Introducing Rebecca Simor and Stephanie Beacham,also starring Amrish Puri,Salman Peerzada,Dan Dhanoa, Story by Salim Khan,Cinematography,Kamal Bose, Costumes by Bhanu Athaiya,Dialogues by Farooq Kaiser, Sound by P.Harikishan,Lyrics by Indivar and Farooq Kaiser,Music by Kalyanji Anandji,Produced and Directed by Feroz Khan. The project was shelved and Feroz started another "Janbaaz" with a different script and cast.
