The cast of Only Fools and Horses have delighted fans with a reunion photo taken almost two decades after the final episode aired.

The hit series, which starred David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst as half-brothers Derek Edward “Del Boy” Trotter and Rodney Chalrton Trotter, ran from 1981 to 1991.

Jason and Lyndhurst reprised their roles in several Christmas special episodes until the early 2000s, with the final episode airing on 25 December in 2003.

During a recent convention, several of the cast members were spotted back together.

One fan snapped a photo with the group, which included Philip Pope (who played Tony Angelino), Michael Fenton Stevens (Alan Perkins), Daniel Peacock (Mental Mickey), and Patrick Murray (Mickey Pearse).

Earlier this year, Murray gave fans an update on his health following his lung cancer diagnosis. The actor said he was “cured” after undergoing chemotherapy treatment.

UKTV has commissioned a second series of the Marley's Ghosts TV programme for its Gold comedy channel. Translation: UKTV has renewed its Marley's Ghosts TV series for a second season on Gold. Marley's Ghosts, season two, will contain six 40-minutes episodes, including a Christmas special.

The cast of Marley's Ghosts include John Hannah, Sarah Alexander, Jo Joyner, and Nicholas Burns. The comedy is co-produced by Objective Fiction, part of Objective Media Group, and John Stanley Productions. Daniel Peacock writes Marley's Ghosts, with James Dean series producing and Jonathan Gershfield directing. Executive Producers are Simon Lupton for UKTV, Objective Fiction's Ben Farrell, and Objective Media Group's Layla Smith.

Daniel Peacock’s TV career started out brilliantly, with appearances on The Young Ones and as part of The Comic Strip Presents comedy cadre. Later, he branched out into writing and directing and seemed to specialize in high-energy, ultra-low budget shows for teenagers. The most successful of these was Cavegirl, broadcast here on Children’s BBC in the early 2000s. It was a show clearly designed to appeal to anxious teenagers, dealing rather directly with “adolescent issues”, and refracting those things middle aged folk would assume youngsters care and worry so much about through a live-action Flintstones-y aesthetic. I know people who were honest to goodness fans, but I couldn’t have seen more than five minutes of it myself.
