    • Sally Payne was born on September 5, 1912 in Chicago, Illinois, USA. She was an actress, known for Man from Cheyenne (1942), Young Bill Hickok (1940) and Bad Man of Deadwood (1941). She was married to Arthur F. Kelly and William Telaak. She died on May 8, 1999 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Trivia

  • Ran a small bookstore in Bel Air called "The Bookworm". She and her son Jim, were both creators in several children's books.
  • Sally left film in the early 1940's to marry her second husband, Arthur F. Kelly who was president of Western Airlines in the 1970's. His claim to fame is in creating "Wally"...the "Only Way to Fly" bird.
  • Starred in westerns for Republic and in comedy shorts for MGM and RKO.
  • They had two sons, and grandchildren.
