Jenny Paschall an advertising and television production executive,
created Tintagel (UK) Ltd (1991) as a full service international
television production company. Based in the UK, Tintagel rapidly became
a creator and supplier broadcasters world-wide. Its reality series
Beyond Belief!! was broadcast in over a dozen countries including the
United States. "Beyond Belief!!" a book based on the series, (written
by Ms. Paschall and Ron Lyon) was published in 1993 by Random House in
the U.K., the United States, South Africa and Australia. "Brain In A
Box", a series of 4 educational books written by Paschall using the
Beyond Belief!! concept, (published by Riverswift, a division of Random
House U.K) has sold tens of thousands of boxes since it was introduced
Christmas, 1995 and is currently the subject of discussions as
children's series for the international market.
Two more books. written by Paschall and Lyon, followed, based on Tintagel's Discovery Channel (U.S.) Series "Would You Believe It" (WYBI), both published by Harper Collins; "Odd Laws" and ".Hatches, Matches, Dispatches". Both have been printed in over a dozen languages, including Chinese and Russian.
In 1999 Paschall formed Big Cat Ltd, a distribution company. Under that banner, in addition to "Would You Believe It!!' Tintagel produced the Discovery U.S./Travel Channel series "Simply Unbelievable", "Strangest Remains", "The Best Places to Find UFO's" and "Most Haunted in America" all produced and written by Paschall, who also also served as Story Editor.
In 2003, Tintagel/Big Cat delivered 4x60 Would You Believe It!! (WYBI) Specials to Discovery U.S., written and produced by Ms. Paschall, the first of which aired 9 Jan 2003. This marked WYBI's 10th season on Discovery!! "Most Haunted Journeys", a sequel to "Most Haunted" is had its first broadcast in Fall of 2004. "Real Strange..." is Ms. Paschall's latest series as writer/producer. "Real Strange..." began production in April 2007, with an initial order of 13 half hours.
In addition to her television and book activities Ms. Paschall is a contributing features writer for the Express on Sunday (London), writing articles on such diverse subjects as "Facial Prosthetics" to "The 20 Scariest Places to Spend Halloween".
Another incarnation "The Wizards of Weird", an interactive evening featuring Paschall and Ron Lyon has become a staple on college campuses throughout the United States, often combined with writing/producing seminars conducted by the pair.
In 2005 Paschall was commissioned to write two screenplays, "Dracula, Out for the Count" a comedy in the classic "Ealing" style, as well as "Feeding the Beast", a horror/suspense film. Both are in currently in development.
"Stefi" a novel written by Paschall, was published in hardback, January, 2007.( Recipient of excellent notices, including 4 stars from the Sunday Express (UK, Mar 25,2007)"Stefi" may well be Paschall's next screenplay.
