  • Trivia
In July 2003, Daniel Tap, a psychiatrist with a private hospital in Garches, a suburb of Paris, was sentenced to a year in prison and a fine of 10,000 francs for partial responsibility for Pascal's suicide, which occurred when she threw herself out of a window at the hospital. Her husband, Robert Boner, filed a complaint against the hospital, claiming that his wife, who was suffering from severe depression, had told several nurses and other employees of the hospital of her suicidal intentions and that her security and well-being was disregarded. An investigation led to charges being filed against her treating doctor, Dr. Tap. Suicide had been a recurring theme in her films.
