Among his many plays are Flaubert's Latest, An Imaginary Life, QED (in which Alan Alda starred as physicist Richard Feynmann), The Sorrows of Stephen, The Cider House Rules: Here in St. Cloud's and The Cider House Rules: In Other Parts of the World (both based the novel The Cider House Rules by John Irving), Romance Language, Scooter Thomas Makes It to the Top of the World, The Rise & Rise of Daniel Rocket (made into a TV movie starring Tom Hulce, and Hyde in Hollywood.
