Vasia Panagopoulou is a Greek actress and theater director known for her extensive work on stage, film, and television. A graduate of the Athens Drama School of Giorgos Theodosiadis (1985), she began her theater career with roles in productions such as Kai tora pali... amok and Karydies stin petrini gi. As a lead actress and company director, she starred in numerous plays including Heirokrotimata, To tragoudi mas, To nou sou stin Amelia, and Fimes.
Panagopoulou has also directed and translated various theatrical works and collaborated with the State Theater of Northern Greece in the trilogy Mourning Becomes Electra by Eugene O'Neill. In cinema, she appeared in films like L'apiculteur (1986) and Paysage dans le brouillard (1988) by Theodoros Angelopoulos.
On television, she starred in popular series such as To pathos (1984), Ta liontarakia tou kyr Ilia (1985), and Erotas (2005). Since 2009, she has been the artistic director of the Theatriki Skini Andreas Voutsinas and since 2012 owns the cultural venues Chytirio and Alhambra Theatre. She is also an advocate for volunteerism, working with Special Olympics Hellas.
