Michael Palance started acting on New York daytime soap operas in 1986 at the age of 16. His first appearance was alongside Brad Pitt in an episode of Another World. Later that same year, he landed his first recurring role on the soap opera The Guiding Light alongside Ian Ziering. In 1988, he landed his first starring role on the soap opera Ryan's Hope alongside Yasmeen Bleeth. Following the end of Ryan's Hope, Mr. Palance was offered the role of Dan Wolek on One Life to Live which he played for 2 years before moving to Los Angeles.
After the move to LA, he starred alongside Margaret Cho in All American Girl, Angela Lansbury in Murder She Wrote and variety of other notable TV series for Aaron Spelling.
In recent years, Mr. Palance has been the CEO of the family friendly streaming service Premiere. He has been responsible for creating hits like Go Iguanas! and Monster Metaverse.
