- Padmini was born on June 12, 1932 in Thiruvananthapuram, Travancore, British India. She was an actress and director, known for Thillana Mohanambal (1968), Kaajal (1965) and Poove Poochudava (1985). She was married to Dr. K. T. Ramachandran. She died on September 24, 2006 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

- Her only son Prem (Premanand) Ramachandran was born in 1962. He works with Warner Brothers. He is married to Indira Nair.
