  • Gavin was a fitness trainer to many actors like Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan.
  • Brother Daryl Packard also lives in India.
  • When he passed away, at least 200 people attended his funeral. But nobody from film industry turned up. He is buried at St. Andrews Church, Bandra.
  • In 2010, when he met with an accident at Kalyan market, he broke his leg and was rushed to Sion hospital. He accused the film industry for not helping him.
  • Father-in-law to Bollywood actor Siddhanth Kapoor (Shakti Kapoor's son).
