Yuriy Ozerov was born on 26 January 1921 in Moscow, RSFSR [now Russia]. He was a director and writer, known for La Bataille de Berlin (1971), Le grand chemin (1963) and Osvobozhdenie: Ognennaya duga (1970). He was married to Dilyara Ozerova. He died on 16 October 2001 in Moscow, Russia.
