    • Czenzi Ormonde was born on March 3, 1906 in Tacoma, Washington, USA. Czenzi was a writer, known for L'inconnu du Nord-Express (1951), La terreur monte (1958) and 77 Sunset Strip (1958). Czenzi was married to Frederic Ormonde and Art Heinemann. Czenzi died on July 24, 2004 in Hayden, Idaho, USA.

Trivia

  • One of Ben Hecht's assistants around 1950s. When Hitchcock asked Hecht to work on the screenplay of L'inconnu du Nord-Express (1951), he was unavailable, but sent Ormonde to work on the script. Strangers on a Train became a big hit.
  • In episode 12 of 2023 of Tussen kunst en kitsch (1984), aired at the 5th of December, her grandniece offered the last version of the script of L'inconnu du Nord-Express (1951) for appraisal, which she inherited from Czenzi's son. She also inherited the royalties. The script was estimated at $10,000,= but only when it would be auctioned in the USA, not in the Netherlands, but the grandniece decided not to put it up for sale.
