9-1-1 Season 8, Episode 11 has no shortage of guest stars as it finally introduces Captain Bobby Nash's mother played by Lesley Ann Warren alongside other newcomers like Ben Franczuski, Ron Orbach, and Anirudh Pisharody. 

After an intense episode involving Maddie's terrifying abduction, the latest episode of ABC's stacked-cast drama series sees Firehouse 118 responding to a call at a local mega-church, leading to a tense reunion between Bobby and his mother. 

Elsewhere, Eddie Diaz's departure from 9-1-1 has led Buck to look for new friends.

Pretty much everyone, including Athena, is shocked to learn Bobby’s mom isn’t dead in the teaser for ABC’s 9-1-1 season eight episode 11, “Holy Mother of God.” Episode 11, directed by Aisha Hinds, will air on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 8pm Et/Pt.

The cast is led by Peter Krause as Bobby Nash and Angela Bassett as Athena Grant-Nash. Jennifer Love Hewitt plays Maddie Han, Oliver Stark is Evan “Buck” Buckley, Kenneth Choi is Howie “Chimney” Han, Aisha Hinds stars as Henrietta “Hen” Wilson, Ryan Guzman is Eddie Diaz, and Gavin McHugh is Christopher Diaz.

“Holy Mother of God” Plot: The 118 responds to a call at a mega-church, where Bobby runs into his estranged mother (Lesley Ann Warren). Meanwhile, Buck is looking to expand his social circle now that Eddie has left.

Before I saw Soul Doctor: Journey of a Rockstar Rabbi, I knew nothing about Shlomo Carlebach. Two and half hours of gentle Jewish liturgical folk-rock later, I’m still not sure I know the guy. It’s not for lack of earnestly proffered information: This unctuous, amiably shambling biomusical pamphleteers you mercilessly with plenty of (selective) facts. We open with Carlebach, the sorta-famous “Singing Rabbi” of the sixties, playing a concert in Vienna, when he’s heckled by a composite-character named Reb Pinchas (Ron Orbach), Shlomo’s square, sour childhood tutor, who thinks Carlebach’s message of universal peace and love (delivered in Vienna, of all places!) is obscuring the very particular circumstances of the Holocaust and cheapening the ongoing struggle of the Jewish people. Is it? Does Reb Shlomo have an authenticity problem? Is he too in love with love — the pasteurized, unkosher love of the secular world? And...
