Lennart Olsson was a Swedish stage and screen director. He made his debut as a film director in 1961 with "Carnival", which starred Bibi Andersson, Gunnar Hellström and Alf Kjellin. Lennart Olsson was Ingmar Bergman's assistant director on three films: "A Summer Night's Smile" (1955), "Mr. Sleeman Comes" (1957) and "The Seventh Seal" (1957). As a stage director he was active for more than 30 years at Malmö City Theatre.
